Curious Learner provides online educational support, tutoring, assessments, and academic programs for students in New Zealand. We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue services at any time.
Eligibility
Students under 18 must have parent or legal guardian consent. Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising minors using our services.
Account Registration
You agree to provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details. We may suspend or terminate accounts for misuse or false information.
Payments & Fees
All fees are listed in NZD (New Zealand Dollars). Payment terms (weekly/monthly/upfront) will be outlined during enrolment. Late payments may result in suspension of services. We reserve the right to change pricing with prior notice.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Cancellation notice period: [e.g., 24–48 hours before session]. Missed sessions without notice may not be refundable. Refund eligibility (if any) must comply with NZ consumer law. Any subscription cancellation terms should be clearly stated.

All course materials, lesson content, diagnostic tools, and branding remain the property of Curious Learner. Materials may not be copied, shared, resold, or redistributed without written permission.
Academic Results Disclaimer
While we aim to support measurable improvement, we do not guarantee specific academic outcomes, exam scores, or school placement results. Student performance depends on multiple factors including effort and engagement.
Online Conduct
Users must not: Share inappropriate or offensive content, disrupt sessions, record sessions without permission, or misuse platform materials. We reserve the right to terminate access for misconduct.
Privacy & Data Protection
We collect and store personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020. Information collected may include:
- Student name, age, and academic level
- Parent/guardian contact details
- Assessment results and progress data

Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by NZ law: We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability is limited to fees paid for the service in question.
Technology & Platform Use
Users are responsible for having adequate internet access and devices. We are not responsible for service interruptions due to technical issues beyond our control.
Termination of Services
We may suspend or terminate services if fees remain unpaid, terms are breached, or inappropriate behaviour occurs. Parents may cancel services with written notice per the cancellation policy.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
