Approach NAPLAN with Confidence.

NAPLAN — the National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy — is a national assessment of literacy and numeracy skills undertaken by students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 across Australia. Aligned with the Australian Curriculum: English and Mathematics, it provides vital information about student achievement and progress.

📖

Reading

Comprehending and interpreting diverse texts.

✍️

Writing

Text structure, ideas, and creative expression.

🔤

Conventions of Language

Spelling, grammar, and precise punctuation.

Numeracy

Mathematical operations, logic, and problem solving.

NAPLAN results are reported using four proficiency levels for each assessment area rather than the old 10-band reporting system. For families, preparation is about strengthening foundational literacy and numeracy skills, becoming familiar with assessment formats, and approaching unfamiliar questions with confidence.
